Changi Airport Group (CAG), Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Singapore Airlines (SIA) launched the second edition of the Singapore MICE Advantage Programme (SMAP). The joint initiative seeks to provide a differentiated and seamless Singapore business event experience for MICE organisers and visitors.
Launched at IMEX Frankfurt, the enhanced SMAP edition features new and improved benefits for business event organisers such as visa facilitation, introductions to agencies and suppliers, up to five complimentary Economy Class tickets on Singapore Airlines (subject to a minimum spend on airfare), a complimentary welcome desk at Singapore Changi Airport to greet participants upon arrival as well as discounts on advertising space in all terminals, preferred rates for venue rental at JetQuay and up to 5 or 10 complimentary one-way quayside service, depending on the event type.
Event participants can also take advantage of extra benefits, including more value fares to Singapore from four carriers, additional baggage allowance, Changi shopping vouchers and more.
“Even as Singapore retains its top Asian city ICCA ranking, we are constantly looking for ways to stay ahead of the curve by enhancing the Singapore MICE experience. We are pleased to be able to enhance the existing SMAP and INSPIRE Programmes with like-minded partners to meet the industry’s evolving needs and to make their business events experience in Singapore more seamless and memorable,” says Melissa OW, Deputy Chief Executive, Singapore Tourism Board. “We are confident that such efforts will help sharpen Singapore’s value proposition in today’s competitive tourism landscape.”
