Sixth annual MeetChina forum to be held on August 21 and 22, 2017 at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi

The UAE’s fastest growing tourism market, and one that has been singled out by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as a priority for the country, is set to receive a further boost in August as Abu Dhabi prepares to host the sixth annual MeetChina event.

As the only business-to-business event in the UAE that is focused on the world’s number one outbound market, MeetChina will bring a 75-strong group of Chinese travel buyers to meet with leading tourism suppliers, including top hoteliers, local DMCs, leisure attractions, retail venues and brands from Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.

At MeetChina, tourism suppliers will enter into business negotiations with Chinese buyers over two days of pre-scheduled appointments on August 21 and 22, 2017. The event guarantees access to top Chinese travel buyers without incurring the time and expense associated with travelling to China.

The hosted Chinese buyers are senior decision makers already placing business in the UAE with a desire to increase outbound numbers. Hosted buyers will represent a broad spectrum of locations from Mainland China such as Chengdu, Chongqing, Ningxia, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Yinchuan, Zhengzhou, as well as the primary hubs of Shanghai and Beijing.

Event sponsors will provide bespoke experiences and VIP hospitality to the Chinese delegates while they are in UAE. Hosted buyers will also be amongst the first Chinese guests to experience the hospitality of the new Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi, which opened its doors in April this year.

Destination Management Company, Arabian Adventures has partnered with MeetChina as the exclusive ground services provider for the event.
