Museum of Islamic Art
Doha’s iconic Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) not only showcases artworks dating back to the seventh century, but doubles up as a spectacular meeting and event venue thanks to its inspiring indoor and outdoor spaces that include galleries and parks.
For special occasions, the atrium’s Grand Hall can hold up to 2,000 people and is ideal for gala dinners, launches and receptions. Conferences, lectures, seminars and movie premiers are best staged in the auditorium, which has 195 fixed seats, in-house projection, digital sound and a cinematic screen. Katara Cultural Village in Doha’s West Bay is a stand-out destination featuring theatres, concert halls and exhibition galleries. The focal point of the attraction, however, is the Katara Amphitheatre, which is a draw card for business groups looking for a stand out venue that can seat up to 5,000 people.
Built in the style of a classical Greek theatre, but with Islamic features woven into the design, the 3,275-square-metre beachside venue has played host to many of Doha’s most spectacular events since it opened in December 2011. Indeed, world-renowned stars such as Angela Gheorghiou, Roberto Alagna and Jeremy Irons have performed there. Visitors can also make the most of the surrounding attractions in the village.

Katara Hall, also part of Katara Cultural Village, is a multipurpose venue that can fit up to 3,000 participants. The space can be divided into three smaller halls and two of these can be joined together for medium-sized events. There are also two Majlis rooms, four VIP rooms, two grand foyers and the flexible Al Asmakh Room. Katara Hall regularly stages gala dinners, receptions, press conferences, workshops, exhibitions, brand launches and more and all food and beverage services are provided by Mövenpick Hotel West Bay Doha.

The Diplomatic Club
This exclusive sports, leisure and wellness club, located in West Bay, is one of Doha’s staple event venues.
