The Yas Marina Circuit welcomed its inaugural Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 1, 2009. The circuit offers a number of world firsts in terms of motor racing, with a hotel straddling the track, a solar powered VIP hospitality tower offering unsurpassed track views from 60 metres high, and fully-covered, luxury grandstands capable of seating 50,000 race-goers.
The Paddock Club offers a premium corporate entertainment experience, with unrivalled views over the pit lane, while the team villas and media centre can also be rented out for corporate groups when the track is not being used for F1 action.
For groups wanting to burn some rubber, Yas Marina Circuit offers a one-kilometre drag strip and a karting circuit for corporate events. There is also a driving academy, while the Yas Hotel, Yas Marina and Yacht Club also offer numerous venues and entertainment options.
