Morocco also offers a variety of world-class meeting facilities.

One of the best-equipped convention centres in Morocco is the Mohammed VI International Conference Centre in Skhirat. Based at the L’Amphitrite Palace Hotel, the centre offers a 496-seat auditorium, and can accommodate up to 850 delegates for a theatre-style conference.

The 700-square-metre convention hall can be divided into three modular meeting rooms or can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a cocktail reception.

The Palmeraie International Convention centre, located just 20 minutes from Marrakesh, offers stylish accommodation, meeting rooms, catering and sports facilities, as well as a world-class golf course. Palmeraie boasts 4,000 square metres of meeting space with state-of-the-art equipment and can accommodate congresses for up to 1,500 delegates.

The Palais Des Congres, also in Marrakesh, offers a number of high-tech meeting rooms. Spread over three floors, the building includes two lecture theatres, banqueting hall and 12 meeting rooms. The centre can accommodate up to 5,500 people and is home to the annual International Marrakesh Film Festival.

“Marrakesh is the most important city for organising conferences and meetings,” comments MNTO’s Sofi.
