Kempinski GCC expansion

Kempinski Hotels is set to launch multiple properties in the GCC demonstrating a growing portfolio for the luxury hospitality brand.

Kempinski Residences & Suites, Doha opened in April in the heart of Doha’s central business district, West Bay. The 62-floor Residence tower is one of the tallest in the capital city, boasting 370 luxury serviced residences with stunning sea views.

Kempinski’s second residence property, and its second property in Dubai - Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah - is located on the iconic, manmade island of Palm Jumeirah. It boasts 244 luxury suites, penthouses and villas offering striking views of Palm Jumeirah lagoon, the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf. This beachside setting is complemented with five acres of landscaped gardens, 500 metres of white sandy private beach, a 1,200 square metre swimming pool, an extensive gym with state-of-the-art equipment, a pampering spa and a kids’ club and playground.

Other projects in the brand’s regional developmental pipeline include two projects in Saudi Arabia, the 300-room Kempinski Hotel, Riyadh, due to open in 2012 and 250-room Kempinski Hotel, Jeddah, which is set to be the first green intelligent hotel of Saudi when it opens in 2012.

A new project on The Pearl, Qatar, The Kempinski Hotel, Marsa Malaz, is a spectacular domed building.   

Kempinski’s Bahrain property is due to open in 2011 as part of a mixed-use development comprising a vibrant entertainment, hospitality and retail offering. 

Kempinski’s first property in Oman, Kempinski Hotel The Wave, Muscat, is also progressing towards a scheduled opening in 2013. The luxury hotel will boast 309 luxury guestrooms and suites in addition to 78 Kempinski Residences, as well as state-of-the-art business and leisure facilities including a ballroom for 400 people.
