Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC)
Located only five minutes away from Manama's bustling financial district, and close to all major hotels, as well as five retail and entertainment centres, BIECC is a state-of-the-art exhibition complex offering some of the finest exhibition and conference facilities in the Middle East.
Space
Bahrain’s first purpose-built exhibition facility with just under 16,000 square metres of space including a column-free conference centre.
The 8,000-square-metre pillar-free exhibition facility is designed to accommodate large-scale exhibitions and trade fairs and also offers extensive outdoor space.
A second hall offers 6,000 square metres of additional column-free space.
Nine meeting rooms are available ranging from 30 to 95 square metres.
The on-site convention centre also provides 1,400 square metres of dedicated meeting space, which can be divided into four separate rooms to complement the existing facilities and includes two VIP majlis’.

Going green
Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority is committed to minimising the operational footprint of BIECC by infusing sustainable approaches to everyday operations including reducing and recycling wastage, reducing lights and power during move-in and move-out of events in the exhibition halls in order to save energy and increasing the efficiency in the use of energy.
Hospitality
Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority has a suite of hospitality options which can be tailored to suit an organiser’s requirements. These include five-star standard catering and banquet facilities. From a small elegant party for 50 guests in BIECC’s Palm Hall to a sit-down black tie dinner for 400 to 1,000 guests.
Over 400 high quality hotel rooms are also located a short walk from BIECC, whilst a further 600 five- and four-star hotel rooms and suites are located within easy reach of the centre.
Technology
Industry-leading telecommunications and technology services with fast connection speeds throughout BIECC, as well as complimentary WiFi access.
Future
Bahrain also has plans to build a new Expo centre, ten times the size of BIECC.
@bahrain is an international entertainment and commercial destination due for completion in 2013. National, regional and international exhibitions and conventions will be hosted in state-of-the-art expandable facilities able to offer up to 145,000 square metres of flexible space and accommodate up to 5,000 delegates.
Complementing the expo@bahrain facilities will be a vibrant mixed-use development featuring a multi-purpose event centre, hotels, international karting, the Formula One circuit and a Lifestyle Plaza (home to boutique dining experiences, cinema, bowling and technology entertainments).
