Al Maha Desert Resort, Dubai

Designed to resemble a Bedouin camp, Al Maha opened 10 years ago, and added a stand alone conference centre in 2004. The foyer of the Al Majlis Boardroom is lined with artefacts from all over the Middle East and North African region. The conference facility can accommodate up to 90 guests with theatre-style seating, a conference-style seating plan for 60 guests and boardroom-style seating for up to 40 guests.

The facility offers state-of-the-art multimedia presentation equipment and on-line video conferencing facilities, as well as digital data sharing and touch-button voting.

The resort is found inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, and conservation is a central theme to its management and operation. For groups, the resort can offer desert-based activities, such as falconry, horse riding, archery and 4X4 desert safaris.
